Working with the Center for New Student & Family Programs, the Parent Association exists to serve as a resource for Utah families, a way to network and support each other, and an outlet to engage in the life of the University through volunteer opportunities. Joining the Parent Association is absolutely free and is the perfect way to stay informed of important information relevant to you and your student. A membership in the Parent Association gives you access to University departments and information. To begin receiving communication through the Parent Association, enter your email address below.
Interested in getting more involved with the Parent Association? There are ways to engage with admitted students/families in your area, parent events on campus, and more through the Executive Committee and Parent Council, which guides the Parent Association. Read below for more information.
The Parent Association has two officers: President and Vice-President. For the 2016-2017 academic year, Barton Russon will serve as President and Joy Scott will serve as Vice-President.
An Executive Committee of 14 parents and family members - including the President and Vice-President - guide the Parent Association and represent the voice of parents to the University. New members are asked to join the Executive Committee each academic year. If you are interested, please complete this application and submit to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Formed in summer of 2013, the Parent Council is composed of all Parent Association members who volunteer for any event or initiative of the Parent Association. Read more and view a list of volunteer opportunities.
